Win a bottle of Rioja

Post by kwd48 » Wed Mar 17, 2010 11:54 pm

Hi folks, I'm intending to open a store on WA and I'm looking for an original storename. I'm going to be listing a lot of non-wisden and even non-cricket items so something along the lines of Ken's sports stuff is required but perhaps with a little more imagination.

So a bottle of fine Rioja will be delivered to you if you can come up with the most original and acceptable name. Deadline is end of March. I'll probably accept the zaniest name you can come up with so let your thoughts run free..........

Many Thanks

Ken

You could take a leaf out of Gerald Ratner's book and call it "Kens's Krap", but why not "Ken's Kaleidoscope" - far better!!!!

Heh, heh! . Keep 'em coming. Doesn't need to have Ken in the title and it won't just be bookies. It could be batty's and piccies etc. Maybe Ken's Batty. I'm after the rioja as well! By the way if there are any teetotallers out there I can change the prize to an exotic blend of tea or coffee.......

I know you like rivers so what about Amazon? Bats n piccies could be shortened to BP or KFC - Kens Fine Cricketania.

Are the aussies still sponsored by KFC? There is a gag in there somewhere!

Why not go modern and make a play with your initials (and forum ID).

The WKD Store.

Shouldn't have too many law suits flying for copyright infringement (only as many as Chris's suggestions will provoke).

Some good suggestions that will go into the hat.

Chris, can I start the store up with a temporary name and change later? If so, I can keep the rioja prize open to the end of March. If not I'll let the family choose on Weds evening (24th) as I want to get cracking!

One last pitch, Ken

WKD Collectibles

Covers all eventualities and should appeal to the Yoof demographic (though might preclude many sales from this forum's members)

Good luck with the venture, whatever the name.
