It's cold any place the central heating isn't working. That's a decent hit rate for the site. Let's hope that once the upward trend continues.

Mike, I assume that you will try to ensure that one of your posts is the 2 millionth? Best start looking at pictures of 2 million things and the like! Oh, I am awful................................

That's the Wisden Auction site Simon - not sure if Chris could detect if I was the 2 millionth hitter

I did try and have the 20,000th post on this site but missed out - some Cridler chap I think

I might have a go at being the 22,222th post

Repeat for 13 days in a row - absolutely fantastic

For me the most impressive stat is the 81K unique visitors! That's a lot of seriously disturbed people. Quarter of a million visits is another big milestone coming up by the look of it. Any sense of whether more people are now visiting or has it been pretty constant across the years? Splendid whatever the answer!

And how many books have been bought?

Oh come on Mike. Is that really important?

Still, good question! Let's see what other questions we can ask Chris — he'd like that. Like which is the most popular day for buying? What time? What is the most prevalent initial of buyers' surnames? Most/least expensive? Silliest price paid? etc etc.

Simon

You should know better than that. Chris will spend the next week running all the stats you've asked for and more. His relationship will fall apart, his health will suffer and his new computer HD will melt under the strain just to provide you with the answers.

I hope you'll feel truly ashamed when all of this comes to pass.

Chris, I've told you before that I'd be happy to mind some of your books for you, notably the really old ones, and probably best if they were hardbacks as they'd "travel" better. Thast should free up some cupboard space for you.
